Little Things We're Enjoying:
Seeing the finish line of our homeschool year (Lainee)
Finishing my time serving every Sunday in our kids' ministry for the past three years. One of my greatest joys has been seeing the kids learn the Story of Scripture song as we work through the big story of the Bible (Kimbo)
Telling myself, “This is God's Plan A for my day" when I start to feel frustrated that things don't go according to my Plan A (Lainee)
A new set of wheels to welcome baby #5 (Hunter)
Regularly listening to The Greatest Story Ever Told album with my kids while thinking about our current Biblical Theology series (Kimbo)
Books and Resources We're Loving:
If you or someone you know is struggling to understand God's heart for the sufferer, Free to Weep by Brittany Lee Allen is a helpful resource that combats many lies many women believe about suffering.
We are excited about this whole (brief) series from TGC called Disciplines of Devotion with authors like Glenna Marshall, Megan Hill, and Emily Jensen.
I finally dove head-first into Out of the Silent Planet by C.S. Lewis (the first in his space trilogy) and am eager to listen to The Literary Life talk through each chapter on their podcast now that I've finished the first book. While nothing will top Narnia, it's important to note that this trilogy was written for adults, not for children, so it has a much different feel. (Lainee)
If you have a pregnant or postpartum friend (or if you yourself are a new mama!), consider gifting them a copy of Annie Vanderheiden's Cradled: Christ's Care for Postpartum Moms. It's like a warm hug paired with gospel truth and would be such a comfort! (Lauren)
I loved Stories Woven in Silver: Pointing Kids to the Gospel Through Children's Literature by Kathryn Butler and Korrie Johnson from Crossway. Whatever your relationship to reading children's books, this book will only improve it. (Lainee)
Speaking of children's books, Arlo Takes Off by Betsy Childs Howard is a great resource for talking to kids about who God made them to be and how to live within those good limits, even when it feels like their feelings can define who they are.

Little Things We're Enjoying:
Song rec that goes perfectly with our biblical theology series: “Christ the True and Better” by Keith and Kristyn Getty
Olipop! Pretty sweet, but a yummy afternoon warm-weather treat drink to replace your soda.
Baseball season starting for my son (which means coaching season starting for my husband). I love seeing each player grow in resiliency, confidence, and skill over the season! (Lainee)
Day trips visiting places in our local area before we move! And finding a new house and being under contract! (Kimbo)
Lauren signed a contract with B&H Publishing for a forthcoming book on suffering that will hit shelves next year!
Hunter had the joy of speaking about a passage from1 Peter to a wonderful group of ladies at SEBTS a few weekends ago. She loved getting to hug some of you listeners!
Books and Resources We're Loving:
Our friend Jen Wilkin has a beautiful (and super giftable!) version of two of her books in one volume: None Like Him and In His Image Gift Edition: Beholding the Character of God (this would make a great Mother's Day gift!)
If you're a mom and haven't grabbed your copy of Abbey Wedgeworth's book, Help! I'm Ruining My Kids: A Gospel Guide for the Mom Who's Desperate for Change, order it now!
The Fountain of Life Contemplating the Aseity of God by Samuel G. Parkison sounds a little intimidating, but this short book (essay, really) is for lay-people to consider God's self-existence, complete independence, and eternal nature.
Created to Play: How Taking Hobbies Seriously Grows Us Spiritually by Brianna Lambert comes out next month!
If you have personally been affected by or know someone who has walked through divorce, we appreciate our friend Vaneetha Risner's book, This Was Never the Plan: Walking with God Through the Heartache of Divorce

We received an overwhelming response to our sweatshirt offer! We were out incredibly fast and have already shipped them out. Thank you all for your kindness in those emails. It was such a sweet gift to see so many names and messages pour in.
I received two different travel mugs as gifts recently and I enjoy them both so much: one very similar to this from Etsy and this one from Nova Ceramics. (Lainee)
Adding hashbrowns or tater tots to breakfast burritos and breakfast casseroles (Lainee, who apparently has simple joys that involve food each month).
With a lot of recent travel and packing to move as a family, I was gifted this handy gadget to suck down bags! (Kimbo)
Peppermint tea from Trader Joe's (Hunter)
This set of claw clips that actually hold all my hair, are comfortable to wear all day, and are subtle colors that go with everything I own. (Lainee)
Time spent in person with fellow online students (who became friends) during a modular course on the campus of the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Kimbo)
I love the GMO phenomenon of seedless lemons from SAM's Club! (Hunter)

J is for Jesus by Alistair Begg is precious new book for kids ages 5 to 8. (And in case you missed Alistair's episode, it's a must listen!)
It's no secret we love all the products from our friends at Lithos Kids. Well, they just launched their second book in The Mansoul Chronicles! This series is based on John Bunyon's Holy War and is muched loved by our team's kiddos age 4+!
Don't miss our friend, Natalie Brand's newest book, From Crimson to White: Finding Gospel Joy at Calvary. (p.s. Natalie is one of our upcoming guests and her book would be a GREAT read alongside our Biblical theology series!)
Another upcoming guest, Alex Duke, has a super helpful resource called From Eden to Egypt: A Guided Tour of Genesis. We can't wait for you to hear our convo with him about the theme of Creation!

Our fireplace—because our heater could not keep up with the winter weather, but we are staying toasty with the fire going all day every day! (Lauren)
Pretending I'm the Emma M. Lion of Huntsville, Alabama with my daily afternoon London Fogs: Earl Grey tea, a bit of sweetener, and steamed milk. (Lainee)
This recipe box is super cute to use for Scripture memory notecards. We need to hide God's Word in our hearts just as we need daily sustenance for our bodies!
Preparing for an Army move back to Fort Hood, Texas, mid-year! (Kimbo)
Books and Resources We're Loving:
A biblical theology study Bible is so fun, especially in light of our upcoming series!
This book on identity really gets into theology and doctrine of union with Christ—it's not just a surface-level identity conversation. It digs really deep while still being completely accessible.
I can't get enough of Sarah Sparks' content…Her music (my favorite Narnia-inspired album—she has a song called “Puddleglum's Anthem” for crying out loud!), her poetry, etc. (Lainee)
Am I the only one begging God to make me a more grateful person and to cultivate a general countenance of thankfulness and joy rather than a critical and downcast spirit within me? Practicing Thankfulness by Sam Crabtree has been so helpful in this endeavor. (Lainee)

Learning we were the top podcast for 999 listeners on Spotify in 2025!
Snow days and walking to our neighborhood sledding hill. This is our last winter in Kentucky, and we are soaking it up before moving back to Texas in June. (Kimbo)

Niche, but for the easily overstimulated friends, these (pretty!) noise softening headphones are amazing.
Heard this was a great family game, so I ordered it for a white elephant gift swap. (Lauren)
